Due to the layout the building, each of our office spaces are unique and individual to each tenant. With monitored parking, attractive green spaces on every side and a park across the road, this well-lit building is easy to reach and offers a conducive working environment to enable businesses to expand and grow.

Included in the monthly fee are electricity, 24 hour access, free parking, use of the shared kitchens, use of the small meeting room, manned reception (Monday – Friday 08:30-16:30) and common area cleaning. Telephone, broadband, electric car charging and reception services (such as post, photocopying, laminating etc) are charged separately. The fee does not include business rates or internal office cleaning.

Our Virtual Office services at Durham Workspace offer the advantages of a prestigious business address without the overhead of a permanent office. We can provide postal and telephone based services and all centre facilities. The service is available to any business and has benefits for both established companies and those based elsewhere in the UK who wish to develop a market in the North East.

We can provide you with a high quality telephone service including voicemail, call transfer and call forwarding facilities. We offer professional phone services too.

We provide a synchronous fibre connection and access to our standard shared service is included within your monthly rental fee. You can also pay to upgrade to a higher service level on request. We can also provide a static IP address. There is a one-off set-up fee to configure your ICT connections. Please contact us for details.

Please note, it is not possible to install your own hard wired telephone systems or internet connections at the centre (eg. BT, Virgin connections). If you wish to install an IP telephone system, this is permitted, but a dedicated internet connection must be purchased. It is not possible to install voice applications on the shared internet service. If you have any other bespoke applications for your business, please discuss these with us so we can advise whether they can be run on the shared service or if a dedicated connection will be required.

Durham Workspace has a small meeting room, available between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. 

Please note, catering must be ordered through Durham Workspace at the time of booking, and external catering is not permitted. Hirers arriving before the designated times cannot be guaranteed immediate access to the meeting room. 

Over 60 dedicated free parking spaces for Durham Workspace visitors, tenants and their guests are available just outside the building, including 2 designated electric bays (at an additional charge for use) and 3 disabled bays.

In addition, Durham Workspace offers laminating, photocopying, printing and postage services. Please ask at Reception for details.
